Teaching is a demanding job whatever subject you teach. Teaching English is even more demanding now than it used to be ten or more years ago.
First of all, you have to like teaching, be friendly and patient to students, you need to create a good atmosphere in the classroom, have to be able to cater for learners' needs.
I could go on and on. But what is the most important is to get learners' feedback on their learning difficulties and help each of them individually.
I've read about blogs in scientific papers and I thought it would be a great idea to get my students blogging. This is the first time I have written a blog myself. I do hope I will be able to learn and encourage my students to use blogs. I hope it will help learners to improve their writing skills.
